We are committed to making classical, Christian education as accessible and as affordable as possible. TCS provides two type of scholarships for families, a Need-based Scholarship and a Ministerial Scholarship.

Need-based Scholarship

TCS offers a limited number of need-based scholarships each year covering up to 25% of tuition. Scholarship funds for Need-based Scholarships for the 2011-2012 school year have been exhausted, so we are unable to accept additional applications for this type of scholarship at this time.

We are now accepting new scholarship applications for the 2012-2013 school year. Scholarship applications are considered in the order received.

If your family would like to apply for a need-based scholarship, you may submit an application for scholarship at any phase of the application and interview process. There is a $30 fee for submitting the scholarship application. The scholarship application could take up to a month to process so we would advise completing as soon as possible. The Family Application requires a fee of $150, but this is fully refundable if you are unable to enroll due to not receiving a scholarship.

Other facts about the Need-based Scholarship

Our maximum need-based scholarship per student is 25% of tuition. For families with multiple students, it is possible that each student may receive a different scholarship amount.
The scholarship applies to tuition for all courses and electives, but the scholarship does not apply to fees, books, uniforms, or other costs.
Scholarship awards are made on an annual basis, and re-application will be needed in future years. The availability of scholarship funds will vary from year to year depending on contributions and the school’s budget. Also, a family's financial situation may change from year-to-year, which can affect eligibility for the Need-based Scholarship.
Scholarships are awarded as applications are received until funds are exhausted.
Scholarships are awarded each year based on family need, as determined by a Confidential Financial Analysis (CFA) which is conducted by Confidential Financial Services of Colorado Springs, CO. You will be responsible for the $30 fee this company collects to cover the cost of processing the form.

Ministerial Scholarship

TCS offers scholarships to the families of full-time ministers who serve at a local church. The Ministerial Scholarship covers 25% of the tuition cost. This scholarship opportunity remains open throughout the year, and an eligible minister's family may apply and request this scholarship at any time. The family and church must agree with the TCS Statement of Faith and the family should follow the regular application process.

The scholarship per student is 25% of tuition. For families with multiple students, this scholarship will apply to all students from that family.
The scholarship applies to tuition for all courses and electives, but the scholarship does not apply to fees, books, uniforms, or other costs.
This scholarship automatically renews annually and re-application is not needed in future years, as long as the full-time ministerial position is held.
