Trinity Classical School is currently hiring for the following positions:

  • Logic School Teacher (part-time)

Classes meet at Bethel Church on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:15am - 2:30pm (electives stay until 3:30pm).

GRAMMAR SCHOOL TEACHER 
(Multiple teaching positions available for Grades PreK through 4th Grade)

 SummaryThis position has responsibility for one classroom of Grammar School students. The Teacher is responsible for classroom instruction two days per week (Monday and Wednesday), for creating lesson plans and assignments, and for posting assignments to the school's online portal for co-teachers (i.e., parents) to access. Curriculum and materials will be provided. This position reports to the Head of School.
 Position typePart-time (10 instructional hours per week on Monday and Wednesday, plus additional preparation time as needed). Some training and in-service days are also required. If a Grammar School Teacher also teaches an elective course, this would add two additional instructional hours per week.
 Salary        
$13,300 over 10 months | $ 15,670 if teaching an elective 
 BenefitsSince this is a part-time position, benefits such as health insurance or a retirement savings plan are not provided by the school.
 Start dateClasses begin August 2012. Training for incoming teachers is provided in late July.
 Required qualificationsBachelor's degree; agreement with and support of the school's Statement of Faith; strong commitment to Christian education and the Classical Model of education
 Additional desirable qualificationsTeaching experience at a Classical school; Teaching certification; Advanced degree

LOGIC SCHOOL TEACHER 
(Positions available for Grades 5th and 6th)

LOGIC SCHOOL COORDINATOR  
 SummaryThis position is responsible for the academic development of our School of Logic (grades 5-8). The Logic School Coordinator would provide training and oversight to our Logic School Staff, develop and oversee curriculum for grades 5-8, and provide support to parents of Logic School students. 
 Position typePart-time (approximately 2 days/week) working from home and on-campus.

TEACHER'S AIDE

 SummaryThis position provides classroom support to one or more Grammar School Teachers. The Teacher's Aide is responsible for assisting Grammar School Teachers with activity centers, reading groups, Morning Assembly, lunch period, recess, and other duties as assigned by the Grammar School Teacher and Head of School. This position reports to the Head of School.
 Position typePart-time (15 hours per week), On-campus days are Monday and Wednesday, from 7:45am to 3:45pm, with 30 minutes for lunch. 
 Salary$8,212.50 over 10 months
