Trinity Classical School is hiring to fill the positions below for the 2010-2011 school year. Classes meet on-campus Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30am - 3:30pm.

PRE-K TEACHER

 SummaryThe PreK Teacher has responsibility for one classroom of PreK students. The Teacher is responsible for creating lesson plans and assignments, and posting assignments to the school intranet for co-teachers (i.e., parents) to access. Curriculum and materials will be provided. This position reports to the Head of School.

GRAMMAR SCHOOL TEACHER (multiple openings in grades 1 through 5)

 SummaryThis position has responsibility for one classroom of Grammar School students. The Teacher is responsible for creating lesson plans and assignments, and posting assignments to the school intranet for co-teachers (i.e., parents) to access. Curriculum and materials will be provided. This position reports to the Head of School.
 Position typePart-time (10 instructional hours per week, plus additional preparation time). If a Grammar School Teacher opts to teach an elective course for extra pay, this would add two additional instructional hours per week.

HEAD OF SCHOOL

 SummaryThe Head of School has overall responsibility for the successful operation of the school. Responsibilities encompass strategy, planning, monitoring, and operations. Functional areas of responsibility include Facilities, Marketing, Admissions, Staffing, Academics, and Finance. The Head of School reports to the Board of Directors

 Required qualificationsBachelor's degree, agreement with and support of the school's Statement of Faith, experience as an educator, thorough understanding of curriculum design and the Classical model, experience with managing a budget and staff within an educational organization, strong commitment to Christian education, exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation skills), ability to fill multiple roles in an entrepreneurial environment
 Additional desirable qualificationsExperience with the University Model of Education, Master's degree or Ph.D.
